Radish is planted on an organic jute mat.
We sell all of our microgreens live on the mat.
They will come in a 4x6 box, so the mat will be cut to fit inside of the box, with a little bit of room left over inside.
We double filter all of the water that we use for the microgreens.
WE DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS, FERTILIZERS, OR PESTICIDES. Just water and light.
All of the packing for your micros, including the mat, can be composted in your backyard compost bin.
Care for your micros:
DO NOT PUT THEM IN THE REFRIGERATOR
Take them out of the box and place them in a shallow dish or tupperware container on your counter, where they can get plenty of light and airflow.
Water them just enough to keep the mat DAMP but NOT WET. A misting bottle also works very well.
We reccomend eating your micros within 3-5 days of receiving them. After that, they will start to get tough and lose their flavor.
