When I think of my journey in the world of coffee - my earliest memory is of a small coffee shop where I grew up in Virginia. I was young, my eyes barely peering over the tables. I remember my mother opening the door of many small shops, walking into the buzz of conversations and the smell of freshly ground coffee and pastries. I remember the glitter of dust settling in the light of the windows. I remember being completely mesmerized by the sounds, the smells, and the people. Some hunched over folders and clunky laptops, holding hands and flirtatiously smiling at their steaming beverage or carrying on more serious or intense conversations... It was at that moment that I didn't just fall in love with coffee - but the allure of a coffee shop and how it brings a community together. Bean's mission is to create a welcoming space for individuals to enjoy quality coffee, delicious treats, and good company. Although not a coffee shop yet, we aim to make each experience feel just as magical.
